Art Law Journal is now part of Orangenius, Inc.


To Our Readers,

The Art Law Journal is pleased to announce its integration with Orangenius, Inc. a new startup developing cloud-based tools that will help members of the art community manage and grow their businesses. As an online home for the visual artist, Orangenius will be the nexus between those that create artistic and commercial artwork, the companies that want to hire them, and the collectors and art enthusiasts looking to discover and purchase art. Initially, while its software platform is in development, Orangenius will launch a Learning Portal where users will find a variety of original and aggregated content focusing on the business of art and art law. For the Art Law Journal, partnering with Orangenius means additional writers so we can bring our readers more high-quality content than ever before. Additionally, we will be able to bring our content to a much wider and larger audience, without having to resort to advertising or paid memberships to fuel our growth.  The Art Law Journal will remain free for anyone who wants to consume our content.

In the coming weeks, we will be launching several new websites. As a subscriber to the Art Law Journal, you are invited to take a sneak peek at out our first new site under the Orangenius umbrella, Art Briefly.  The art industry’s business and legal news is often hard to find, lost among the overwhelming amount of creative-centric content permeating the internet. This fall, watch for the launch of the Art Business Journal.  We recognize that every creator is an entrepreneur at heart; defining and cultivating an artistic style, which can then be marketed to the wider world.  Whether a solo artist or a large art-based enterprise, the Art Business Journal will provide in-depth articles and information that will help artrepreneurs organize and manage business operations, growing sales and increasing profits.
